Not a bad thing bit I might make a second post with clear instructions on how to get this working because honestly it doesn't really tell you anywhere. I solved with that path: C:\Games\Baldurs Gate 3\Data. Well, just set baldur gate 3 paste game and gg. I tried running the game with only the Script Extender.
I have the same exact problem, playing on Windows. I have no mods and have never experienced a BG3 crash until now (after installing patch #5). I click "Continue" in the main menu and my save starts loading. It always reaches 100% before crashing (I never get a glimpse of the actual game before it crashes). I am in Act 3. When I boot up the game no mods load, then when I open bg3mm again all my active mods are inactive again. I already deleted all my mods from the script extender and the extender itself and reinstalled the game and such to see if i can just get regular mods to work, and I cannot. If you are using any of these mods I have listed above, and your game is updated to Hotfix #19, and you are still having problems (with only these mod I have listed), reinstall ALL your mods, especially BG3 Script Extender , Native Mod Loader, Achievement EnablerFor the fix to this, you have to install script extender (manually or via nexus/vortex) and then start the game. This will cause the script extender to update automatically to the newest version. Then go back into your BG3MM and hit refresh. Hope this helps! Until the Script extender is updated, any mods that depend on it will not work. They have to be removed along with the script extender "mod" itself. Mods that do not use the script extender should continue to operat e as before. If you downloaded using Vortex, that mod page also must be updated to point to the latest script extender.
