This should help. keep them coated with dielectric greased to stop corrosion.

lowes Discussion starter · Dec 12, 2010. Thanksgiving we installed all the plows on the trucks. Yesterday we installed the 8.6 SB smarthitch2 on the truck and no movement. My controller does not light up. I have power at the fuse box. I followed the Boss flow chart. Than if that is working check that power is making it to the end of the truck side cable. If that is working plug the plow in and see if power is making it to the motor.

That click your hearing is the solenoid .The under hood relay pack is for your control and headlight switch,all your plow lights , and dual burn for your plow lights. The first thing I would check is my plow ground.Headlights not working through plow harness. I have been lurking for a few months, but this is my first post. But if the light doesn't come on with each time the relay clicks then you probably have a bad relay.
