I feel like Mr. Martin is and has been doing something to try and become one of the living again. Maybe they were able to get into bodies for short periods of time but couldn’t leave the school. I watch both versions of Ghosts. Where Rhonda was killed is where Simon could see Maddie or one of the places. I don’t think Mr. had good intentions.
